Oliver Gustav Copenhagen shop and home

Photography: Bjarni B jacobsen Styling: Eckmann Alive
These Photos are from Elle decor Uk January 2010 and they are great. Actually the whole magazine is great. I really need to get to Copenhagen!

Laurel Lamps

Laurel Lamp company was a US lighting company that produced lights in the 60's and 70's. When ever I buy for the store I seek them out. They are like having a piece of art in a lamp.
Lighting is so important. It creates a mood, and the source of light brings so much character to a room. As a designer I don't believe in recessed lighting, because you miss out on this whole other dimension of depth and layering.
These are some recent acquisitions for Curator. I always buy what I love, and it's hard to part with these babies!

Curator of Collection

My store is called Curator of Collection. The goal of Curator of Collection is to seek out unusual, and beautiful pieces from the past and present which can be put together to give a home a unique feeling that transcends both time and trends.

Curator of Collection is based in New York City. You can view our items in person by making an appointment.

In addition to being a store, Curator of Collection also offers design services. For more information please email christiane@curatorofcollection.com.

Friday I'm in love

Today is beautiful here in NYC. It's one of those great spring days where every one wants to be outside. So, I took the dog for a walk, and decided to finally start this blog!
